We initially spoke with Bob nearly a year before we closed on a property. I was lucky in my first home-buying experience to click on Farrah's contact information. Farrah returned my call and, although my financial situation meant that I was still months (and, as it turned out, more like years) from being able to buy something, she nonetheless kept in touch and was always available to discuss what I was looking for on LBI and even take me to see some properties.

Finally, when I was able to start looking actively, Farrah showed great patience, knowledge and insight. I really didn't even know what I wanted--I had so many factors floating around in my head. Regardless, Farrah showed me everything and, while she never pushed me to anything, she took the time to look past my confusion and direct my search. She even had contractor friends give a few places the "once over" to give me an idea of what the real cost would be after needed repairs. That was amazingly helpful (as was Farrah's background in her family's electrical contracting business) because it enabled me to look past the price and see the true cost of a home--something that was a major consideration for me because I was not going to have $$ left over for a lot of expensive repairs.
